Join Jenny Perlin and surprise guests for the launch of Issue 16 of The Hoosac Institute Journal. The Hoosac Institute is a platform featuring work in text and image, focusing on pieces that don’t fit conventional disciplinary narratives. Since 2018, the Journal has published contributions by over 150 artists, writers, composers, scholars, and filmmakers, including Luis Camnitzer, Celina Su, Trinh T Minh-ha, Barbara Hammer, George Baker, David Hartt, Carolee Schneemann, Sarah Ruhl, Charles Bernstein, Lucy Sante, Zoe Beloff, Rea Tajiri, Dread Scott, and many more. 

The evening will feature a performance by Jennifer Gersten, violinist and writer, whose work is included in the upcoming issue, in celebration of the launch and the 9th year of The Hoosac Institute’s existence. All are welcome!
